A Forever Home currently taking shape in Tasmania.
The brief
A custom Forever Home resolved around its site and its owners — the same starting point as every home we build, and the reason none of them repeat.
The build
Tirohanga is under construction now. The images on this page are architectural renders, not photographs — we would rather say so plainly than present a visualisation as a finished house. Final photography will follow on completion.
What we can tell you about how it is being built is the same as for every Zanetto project: it is priced open-book, so the owners see the trade quotes and the allowances rather than a single number; it was costed through the 48-hour feasibility before design ran ahead of budget; and it is being built by the team that quoted it.
The result
To come. Follow the build on our under construction page, or see finished work of the same kind across the portfolio — including Bluebush, our certified passive house and the 2026 HIA Australian GreenSmart Home of the Year.
Planning something similar? Start with a 48-hour feasibility — a figure within 10% of your real build cost, across roughly ninety cost categories.
