Asgard — Ensuite

The brief
A private wet area that matches the calm of the main bathroom without duplicating it, and that works every single morning rather than looking good once.
The build
Ensuites concentrate every difficulty of a bathroom into a smaller footprint. Ventilation has to be effective without being audible. Storage has to exist without crowding. Lighting has to work for both a 6am start and a late evening, which usually means more than one circuit and a good deal of thought about where shadows fall on a face.
Because Asgard was built as a long-term family home rather than a project to sell, the decisions here favoured durability over novelty — surfaces that will still look right in fifteen years, and fittings chosen for serviceability as much as appearance.
The result
A room that does its job invisibly, which is the highest compliment an ensuite can be paid.
